These terms, along with our privacy policy, govern the relationship between you and Hollymount Cottage concerning this website. We strongly recommend that you carefully read and understand our terms and conditions before proceeding with your booking.
Reservations and Payment
Once you have selected your stay dates and verified availability, you can make online bookings. Hollymount Cottage accepts most Credit and Debit card payments through our secure online booking system. To confirm your reservation, a 30% deposit is required, with the balance due 28 days before your scheduled arrival. If you make a booking within 28 days of your arrival date, full payment is mandatory. The primary guest making the booking must be at least 21 years of age.
Good Housekeeping
A mandatory £100 good housekeeping deposit will be payable when the balance is due. This deposit will be refunded within 14 days if the cottage is left in a satisfactory and clean condition. In cases where additional cleaning is needed, a portion of the deposit may be retained.
Essential Maintenance
During your stay, essential maintenance work may be carried out outside.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us immediately and confirm your cancellation in writing. Cancellations will only be processed upon receiving your written instructions. In the event of a cancellation, the booking deposit will be forfeited in all cases. If the cancellation occurs within 28 days of the scheduled holiday start date, no refund will be provided. Please note that Hollymount Cottage does not offer any cancellation or travel insurance and recommends that you obtain your own coverage for your holiday.
Cancellation by Hollymount Cottage
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to provide alternative accommodation. If this is not feasible or acceptable to you, we will refund all monies paid for the holiday. Our responsibility does not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival and Departure
Cottages are available for check-in at 3 pm on your arrival day and should be vacated no later than 11 am on your departure day. These times may be flexible with prior arrangement. Please inform us of your approximate arrival time before your stay.
Occupancy
The maximum occupancy for Hollymount Cottage is specified on our website, and any deviation from this requires prior permission from Hollymount Cottage.
No Smoking Policy Hollymount Cottage strictly enforces a no-smoking policy within the cottages.
Pets
Pets are not permitted at Hollymount Cottage.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the cottage and expected to take reasonable care of it. All equipment and utensils must be left clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Any breakages, damage, or loss of equipment during your occupancy must be promptly reported to Hollymount Cottage.
Disclaimer
The owners of Hollymount Cottage are not responsible for personal injuries to you or any member of your party. They are also not liable for accidents, loss, or damage to personal effects, baggage, cars, or any other belongings. You must take necessary precautions to protect your property and ensure personal safety.
Complaints
If you are not completely satisfied with your accommodation during your stay, please contact Hollymount Cottage immediately to resolve the issue. Failure to follow this procedure may hinder our ability to address the matter and could result in the loss or reduction of any rights associated with your complaint. If you remain unsatisfied after contacting Hollymount Cottage, submit your complaint in writing to “The Proprietors” within fourteen days of your return from the holiday.
Privacy
By using our website, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms of our privacy policy. Hollymount Cottage is committed to safeguarding the privacy of users and the confidentiality of provided information. We do not share our mailing information with third parties but may use it to notify guests of promotions, discounts, or events of interest, unless instructed otherwise in writing. We do not store credit card details, and customer information is not shared with third parties. Information provided may be stored on a computer system for our convenience.
